Biography

I recently completed the Learning Design & Development program at Bowling Green State University and obtained my Master of Education degree. In 2006, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Technology degree in the Visual Communication Technology program. Throughout these two programs, I had the opportunity to acquire a great deal of knowledge in multiple parts of the media industry. While my undergraduate focus was on video and photography, I have also gained experience in design, web, and facilitating. From 2007-2008, I taught a visual communications lab at BGSU. This allowed me to work closely with other faculty members at the university and continue to grow as both an educator and a visual communications technology specialist.

This past year, I picked up jobs as a designer and a photographer for two different organizations, which gave me more experience working with clients and deadlines. Throughout the Learning Design & Development program, I learned how to take the latest technology and apply it to the classroom. I have the experience of creating online learning modules, collaborating with other faculty members, and leading seminars/lectures.

I believe I offer a distinct integration of technical knowledge, teaching experience, educational background, and the comprehension of visual communication elements. I would like to be able to take these components and put them to good use with a company or university that embraces my passion. If you have any employment opportunities for someone with my qualifications and experience, please contact me for further discussions.
